My client is a hugely successful and respected Not for Profit and Charities business based in Coventry who are seeking an Accounts Assistant on an ongoing Temp basis. Description

The Accounts Assistant opportunity with this excellent Not for Profit and Charities organisation will include:

  • Process all sales and purchase ledger invoice and payment transactions.
  • Validate and process purchase invoices matching to PO's accurately
  • Completion of supplier statement reconciliations
  • Issue sales invoices and communicate effectively with customers relating to overdue payments
  • Resolve invoice queries efficiently communicating effectively with all internal and external parties
  • Perform bank reconciliations and maintain cash management spreadsheets.
  • Assist with the month end process, including bank reconciliations, journal postings, accruals and prepayments etc.
  • Assist in collating payroll information to be accurately recorded and issued to external payroll provider

Profile

To be successful in this varied Accounts Assistant role in Coventry you will need to be available immediately or at short notice (no more than 1 week). You will have exposure to managing a varied workload and will be comfortable in managing all AP and AR activities. Experience within Payroll administration would be beneficial. The ability to work diligently and reliably from home is essential.
