With a steady turnover north of £10m in sales revenues, this international business is looking for a new Finance Manager to join its UK subsidiary, based in Glasgow.

Reporting into the UK Managing Director and the Group Finance Director, you'll take ownership for the monthly reporting, forecasting and budgeting, as well as the financial and statutory accounts and tax requirements. You'll have an established team of three to manage, as well as input into the purchasing and warehouse side of the business.

This is a busy and multi-faceted role that suits someone used to working for a subsidiary business or a growing SME. ICAS or equivalent is useful, but not essential for this position, but what is needed is a minimum of five years good all-round accounting experience spanning management, financial and statutory accounting. Experience of project accounting is very useful, as is previous experience of working for a manufacturing company.

Most of all, you will need to demonstrate your problem-solving ability, analytical skills and collaborative approach to business relationships. Flexibility to be able to travel (Covid allowing) is essential, as is good solid experience of ERP systems and Excel. Systems implementation knowledge would be an advantage.
