Do you have experience if working within a busy, challenging Tax and Accounts role ? A rare and exciting opportunity to join a global organisation in Surrey has arisen on a contract basis. The position of Tax and Treasury Accountant is a pivotal position within this global business and offers a varied range of responsibilities.

Key responsibilities include:

Managing outsourced tax compliance relationships globally and all tax queries, investigations, and audits. Preparation of supporting schedules for tax filings (UK and Global) as required including Controlled Foreign Companies disclosures. Assist in the preparation of global Research and Development claims as well as monitoring claims during the year. Manage the input to Global Tax for its Country-by-Country Reporting Preparation of the year-end tax provision along with accounting for income tax, sales taxes, including accruals and reconciliations, current and deferred income taxes. Preparation of the quarterly transfer pricing adjustments and postings to the financial ledgers . Assist the GFC with quarterly and annual group reporting requirements along with assisting the design, implementation, and communication of tax projects Support the business to deliver tax efficient business development, operational and restructuring projects Deal with UK and foreign registered VAT returns, providing advice on withholding tax rates for commercial proposals. Treasury Management will include the preparation of weekly cash reporting and providing analysis and commentary of cash movements. Preparation of monthly group cash flow forecast and maintaining a twelve month cash flow forecast along with posting of global cash receipts daily. Management of settlements across the group and raising of invoices when required.To be considered the ideal candidate will have:

Qualified accountant CTA/ACCA/ACA Experience within international tax and accounting Strong Excel skills You will be detail-oriented with the ability to work to tight deadlines Excellent analytical skills You will process excellent communication skills and have a pro-active approach with the ability to work and think independently
