Meridian are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-respected, Market leading engineering company based in the Yeovil area. They are currently seeking a qualified Management Accountant to join their successful team. This role would paticuarly suit someone looking to move from Practice to Industry accounts.
Role Duties include:
Manage Customer Invoicing and debt collection Manage Supplier Invoices and supplier payment agreements Manage Banking relationships Cash Flow Transactions and Reporting Supplier Payment Runs Inter-company transfers Cash Flow Forecasting Preparation of weekly Investment portfolio reports Monthly accounts reconciliation Manage relationship with external Auditors Year End Statutory Accounts preparation and submission VAT Submissions Manage Fixed Asset register, depreciation and amortisation Stock analysis and stock take Tax Submissions Management of all Expenses. Manage the company insurances Manage the company health insurance and life assurance schemesEssential Requirements:
ACCA, CIMA or ACA qualified Analytical and strong excel skills Good understanding of WIP and project accounting. Proven problem solver Excellent communication skills Prior experience working within a manufacturing, production or engineering environment would be advantageous however not essential. Role Overview
Permanent role Full Time (40 hours per week) Part time hours may be considered for the right candidate Hours of work are 08:00- 17:00Benefits
