The Company
Our client is a booming retail, who despite COVID, continue to experience exponential growth and as such, they are about to embark on a major eCommerce transformation. They will be replacing their website and digital commerce platforms with an omni-channel headless solution. An opportunity for a Business Analyst to initially drive this solution and build out new capability once the MVP has been released has presented itself.
This organisation is a collaborative and supportive environment with a family orientated mindset which will allow plenty of flexibility with work from home opportunities once the office reopens.
The Role
Reporting directly into the Product Owner with a dotted line to the GM of Digital, the role will be to prepare the business and customer requirements to inform the replacement of a new eCommerce solution and then grow and enhance the omni-channel customer experience. Specifically, the Business Analyst will;

The successful candidate must have strong Digital Business Analysis foundations in omni-channel E-Commerce projects with experience in either retail, manufacturing, FMCG, logistics, wholesale or similar. You will have most if not all of the following skills;

- Fully exercise your knowledge in end-to-end eCommerce solutions and platforms.
- Engage and build relationships with key senior stakeholders and business subject matter experts across the entire business.
- Facilitate discovery workshops to build and document user requirements and functional specifications.
- Ask strong questions to help the team see areas that may lead to problems
- Work with new and existing vendors to align requirements and solutions.
- Take full end to end responsibility for a solution that delivers the projects goals.
- Act as a liaison between users, stakeholders, and technical teams.
- Identity the major risk in collaboration with the project team and offer solutions.
Your Profile
The successful candidate must have strong Digital Business Analysis foundations in omni-channel E-Commerce projects with experience in either retail, manufacturing, FMCG, logistics, wholesale or similar. You will have most if not all of the following skills;
- You must have experience in retail systems B2C commerce, omni-channel experiences, and solutions.
- Experience as a Business Analyst delivering digital projects from inception to BAU.
- Experience with eCommerce system integration and data mapping.
- Experience working with ERP or POS highly valued.
- Experience with headless architecture highly valued.
- Experience in high performing agile teams.
- Data analysis experience or experience with Data analysis tools e.g. Google Analytics or Data studio.
- Experience in leading discovery workshops.
- Excellent requirement gathering and documenting skills in the form of user cases, user stories and functional specifications.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
