Description

Given the continued spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus), all interviews will be conducted by phone or virtual connection to protect our candidates and employees.

We are seeking a talented Business Intelligence professional to join our Capital Planning team.The candidate will partner with the Finance division on critical processes for Capital Planning and regulatory submissions. The candidate will also collaborate with the development team to help automate areas of the process by providing critical insights and analysis.

You will:

  • Partner with the Capital Planning team in New York to learn, aide with, and optimize business processes for Capital Planning
  • Take ownership of certain business processes for CCAR, ensuring timelines are met
  • Ensure all controls and processes within the responsibility of the role are completed and continually evolving in line with the requirements of the team and Firm
  • Ensure deadlines are met providing accurate and timely escalations to line manager
  • Provide insights and guidance to help build out a strategic software solution
  • Manage timely escalation of issues to key stakeholders and business partners to ensure effective resolution
  • Support the Tech squad during the analysis and testing of software development
  • Participate in high level software requirements gathering and knowledge sharing session

Qualifications

You have:

  • Experience in using Microsoft products (Excel, Word) alongside other systems to own and manage a controlled and critical process in the financial field
  • Experience in working in or with a software development team is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal skills, a good listener and able to demonstrate strong relationship building skills
  • Self-driven, self-motivated dedicated and able to work well in a team but equally able to take on a challenge independently
  • Strong adaptability and capacity to work in fast-paced environment
  • The successful candidate would ideally have a record of accomplishment and experience of delivering against tight deadlines
  • The successful candidate would ideally be a confident well-rounded methodical person with strong analytical skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy is essential 
  • Strong communication skills both oral and written are essential, as the successful candidate will be dealing with clients and our partners across the various divisions of the firm.

Our mission is to build a first-class integrated financial planning platform that supports running complex models, report on financial projections across the Firm, and support the Capital Planning process for submissions to the Federal Reserve. The team is closely aligned with internal Business partners and the candidate will play a critical role toward achieving our strategic objectives
