Senior Manager - Accounting Operations

We are working with a leading aviation leasing company to recruit a Senior Manager within their Accounting Operations team.
As Senior Manager you will provide direction and support to the Operations team responsible for invoicing and cash collections while managing portfolios of airlines

Job details:

• Provide direction and support to the Operations team responsible for invoicing and cash collections while managing portfolios of airlines.
• Perform analytical review and provide analysis of AR movements for relevant period including quarter on quarter analysis.
• Manage the period end close process checklist.
• Design and improve finance modelling within the AR team.
• Preparation of information for both External/ Internal Audits.
• Management of the cash-flow report for executed deferrals
• Maintain and improve reporting controls and work with other departments to identify opportunities to improve and streamline processes.
• Understand the full end-to-end process and contribute to the enhancement of the knowledge of the AR's process across the team and business.

Skills and Education:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
• Accounting experience in an international environment including a big four audit firm.
• Excellent communicator.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to details.
• Proven track record of working in a fast paced, dynamic, service orientated environment.
• Self-starting team-player.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with accounting / ERP systems (experience with CMS and/or SUN is a distinct advantage).
