Security Engineer - Compliance/Audit
Come join the IPS Organization as a Staff Security Engineer. We are looking for a versatile problem solver with a passion for security, compliance, and coding to join our team to drive adoption of our services, drive security and compliance hygiene efforts, and help with audit engagements across
Drive, track, and promote adoption of centralized security and compliance services across through both social and automated efforts
Partner with IPS development teams to help inform the product roadmap and provide user feedback that will be used to improve security and compliance services.
Partner with Client Platform development teams and the IPS Governance team to help form an understanding their security and compliance requirements, document onboarding procedures, and contribute to code/scripts that make it easy for devs to adopt security and compliance tools for their AWS–based apps and services.
Drive, track, and automate the overall work across Clinet Platform to close open vulnerabilities, security defects, and compliance failures.
Participate in audit execution across client Platform. Engage with development teams and internal / external auditors as required during an audit to facilitate audit interviews, help gather audit evidence, and remediate any audit findings. Automate this work where possible.
Communicate progress across organizational boundaries and levels from individual contributor to senior executive

BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Security or equivalent degree
Demonstrable experience in the area of audit, compliance and information security (i.e. auditor, compliance officer, security analyst, or engineer providing technical leadership to teams that have significant security compliance requirements)
Demonstrated proficiency in programming and/or scripting languages
Demonstrated proficiency with data analysis and reporting
Demonstrated proficiency in cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure.
5+ providing technical, program, or people leadership in a in a complex SaaS environment
Extensive experience driving work across multiple teams with differing business requirements
Excellent leadership skills. Demonstrated ability to work in a matrix environment, and ability to influence at all levels
Proven experience driving organizational change
Exceptional ability to build strong relationships and leverage those relationships to influence across organizational boundaries
Outstanding communication skills appropriate for executive–level audiences visually communicating goals of program, relationship to business goals, and other relevant success criteria.
