Management Accountant

This is an exciting diverse role with an award winning leading Irish Financial service broker operating a large portfolio of business. You will have the opportunity to deal with monthly management accounts, company trial balance & drive change in implementing process improvements. This role would be suited to a driven & commercially minded Accountant looking to take the next step in their career.

Your Responsibilities:

• Produce accurate and timely monthly management accounts to board
• Reconciling the company trial balance.
• Assist with the external audit including preparation of audit schedules
• Assist with the preparation of the annual budget including the monitoring of actuals vs budget and explaining the key variances.
• Manage the accounts payable function and identify opportunities for cost reductions
• Help implement and identify the company possible process improvements and assist leading projects to help drive efficiencies.

Your Experience & Skills:

• Finalist (3 or less exams on DOE) / Newly qualified (ACA/ACCA/CPA).
• A relevant honours degree (Accounting / Business).
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a finance role with a broad knowledge of accounts preparation, tax and audit.
• Strong end user computing skills in particular MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Highly motivated with a desire to up-skill towards systems
