Financial Controller

We are looking for a Financial Controller to come in for circa 2 months to resolve some inventory integrity issues the client has.

Description

Our client, who are a retail business based in Hertford are looking for a Financial Controller to come in for circa 2 months to resolve some inventory integrity issues they have.

It has become obvious that there are significant differences between the stock and what they believe they should have.

They now need to do the following:

• Put the right controls and processes in place to ensure that the files stay aligned (ie that all transactions on the WMS are captured onto SAP)

• Review PI and stock adjustment processes in the warehouses to ensure they work and are properly controlled

• Put the right controls and processes in place for us to review, sign off or challenge stock adjustments and make sure they are capture correctly in SAP

• Review the largest differences arising from the stock file alignment exercise to understand why they have arisen and if appropriate create the case to charge the warehouses for lost stock

Profile

The successful Financial Controller will ideally be from an ACA or ACCA background with experience of stock control / working with warehouses

The client is really looking for someone from a FC background with experience of managing stock file controls.
