The Role

A seasoned Internal Auditor

Key Accountabilities
  • Perform IT audit assignments with coverage of investment banking/private banking business;
  • Developing and implementing computer assisted audit techniques (CAATs) and tools to analyze data to enhance audit efficiency and effectiveness;
  • Act as the Data Analytics Subject Matter Expert in the team. Share knowledge/skills with and provide assistance to the team in performing audit using data analytics (i.e. identify data sources and establish relevant data requirements);
  • Participate in other internal audit activities, including developing/enhancing annual risk assessment and audit plan, audit procedures and audit methodology;
  • Provide independent and professional audit / consultancy service to improve the Group’s risk awareness and control effectiveness;
  • Carry out ad hoc inspections where required or such other duties as directed by your superiors.

Skills & Experience
  • Minimum 5 - 8 years of experience in data analytics/IT audit gained from Big 4, Fintech, financial institution or consulting firm;
  • Sound knowledge in IT/cybersecurity controls and data analytics in the investment banking/private banking sector;
  • Knowledge of developing CAATs such as Microsoft Power BI, QlikView or Tableau or programming languages such as SQL, Python and other scripting / coding languages will be an advantage;
  • Strong analytical skill: ability to analyze complex situations to identify key issues;
  • Good communication and report writing skill: ability to communicate views and ideas in simple layman terms;
  • Good command of English and Chinese (Mandarin / Cantonese);
  • Professional qualifications (e.g. CPA, CIA, CISA, CISSP) are added advantages.
