Accounting Technician

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Accounting Technician to join a family owned Irish Business located in the Kildare Area. Reporting directly to the Managing Director you will take full responsibility for the finance function. Responsibilities: Processing/matching purchase invoices Processing payments within agreed timelines Requesting Credit Notes/ follow up Supplier Statement Reconciliations Liaising with supplier to achieve best possible rates Processing Sales Invoices per invoice terms and PO Numbers Emailing invoices and statements to clients Allocating payments Debtor Control/collections Preparing Accounts to Trial Balance Weekly Bank/Credit Card Reconciliations Preparing of Bi-Monthly Vat returns Identifying business opportunities/savings Organisation of all business travel arrangements Administration support Monthly reporting for Directors to include: Profit & loss Balance Sheet Clients details Sales Reports Cashflow forecasting You will be a highly motivation and driven individual with exceptional attention to detail coupled with organisational skills. You will hold an IATI Qualification and have a minimum of 3 years' experience. You will have the ability to work independently and take charge of workflow.
