Financial Accountant - Permanent Role - Kilkenny Responsibilities Preparation of Monthly Management Accounts Cash flow management Bank Reconciliations Foreign Exchange - Euro, Sterling & USD transactions Hire Purchase & Leasing Monthly Payroll. Completion and Submission of VAT, VIES & INTRASTAT, P30, P35, etc. Preparation and Reconciliation of Monthly balance sheet accounts Preparation of month end accruals, prepayments, & maintenance of fixed asset register. Review of spends against budgets and variance analysis General Ledger Maintenance Managing the PO system & Expense system Liaising with our external auditors and tax advisors, banks etc. Management of 2 members of staff Ad hoc duties Desirable Qualifications: Qualified Accountant with 2+ years' industry experience Experience with Sage Line 50 High level of competency in Excel. Good Communication skills Highly motivated with excellent planning and time management skills and with the ability to work to tight deadlines A working knowledge of French would be an advantage Limited International travel
