Responsibilities (how we will measure success): Assist with production of client management accounts and financial statements in an accurate and timely manner and in collaboration with the Senior Client ManagersAssist with administration duties of allocated clients in an accurate and timely manner and in collaboration with the Senior Client ManagersProactively develop and maintain strong and effective working relationships within your team, promoting a culture of support, collaboration and a joined up approach to servicing clientsAssist with the management of a portfolio of allocated clients, developing effective working relationships with the client, their advisors and any other parties connected to those client relationships.
Tasks (what does the role entail on a day-to-day basis) Assist with the preparation of management accounts in specific formats and within reporting timelines as may be agreed by the clientAssist with preparation and filing of taxation returns, including corporation tax, VAT, VIES, Intrastats, payroll taxes, etc. to ensure filings are returned on time;Assist with the audit process in conjunction with the client’s reporting timelines and liaising with third party auditors and tax advisors;Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts in specific formats and within reporting timelines as may be agreed by the clientMonitoring of debtor’s ledger, creditors ledger and treasury management in relation to the bank accounts;Financial administration including bank account maintenance, preparation of bank reconciliations etc.
Qualifications Educated to degree level and/or studying for professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, ACA, CIMA), or equivalent experienceExperience of providing services to clients and managing client relationshipsExcellent organisational, prioritisation and interpersonal skillsExcellent working knowledge of relevant IT platforms and applications‘Can do’ attitude, ability to cope with tight deadlines and working under pressureStrong team ethicCommercial acumenExcel skillsPrevious experience in a busy office environment is desirable
