Job description

Responsibilities (how we will measure success):

  • Assist with production of client management accounts and financial statements in an accurate and timely manner and in collaboration with the Senior Client Managers
  • Assist with administration duties of allocated clients in an accurate and timely manner and in collaboration with the Senior Client Managers
  • Proactively develop and maintain strong and effective working relationships within your team, promoting a culture of support, collaboration and a joined up approach to servicing clients
  • Assist with the management of a portfolio of allocated clients, developing effective working relationships with the client, their advisors and any other parties connected to those client relationships.
  • Tasks (what does the role entail on a day-to-day basis)

  • Assist with the preparation of management accounts in specific formats and within reporting timelines as may be agreed by the client
  • Assist with preparation and filing of taxation returns, including corporation tax, VAT, VIES, Intrastats, payroll taxes, etc. to ensure filings are returned on time;
  • Assist with the audit process in conjunction with the client’s reporting timelines and liaising with third party auditors and tax advisors;
  • Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts in specific formats and within reporting timelines as may be agreed by the client
  • Monitoring of debtor’s ledger, creditors ledger and treasury management in relation to the bank accounts;
  • Financial administration including bank account maintenance, preparation of bank reconciliations etc.
  • Qualifications

  • Educated to degree level and/or studying for professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, ACA, CIMA), or equivalent experience
  • Experience of providing services to clients and managing client relationships
  • Excellent organisational, prioritisation and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent working knowledge of relevant IT platforms and applications
  • ‘Can do’ attitude, ability to cope with tight deadlines and working under pressure
  • Strong team ethic
  • Commercial acumen
  • Excel skills
  • Previous experience in a busy office environment is desirable
