A reputable public sector organisation looking for an experience Assistant Management accountant to join their Finance team in Birmingham on a permanent basis.
Description
- Budgeting
- Monitoring financial results
- Undertaking appropriate analysis and reporting to budget holders and senior management
- Compile, analyse and interpret complex financial data to prepare executive financial reporting
- Ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders
- Reconciliation
- Supporting with Auditing
- Financial planning and assurance
- Identify process and reporting improvements and recommend solutions to drive deficiencies
Profile
Ideal candidate will be:
- Studying towards professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW)
- Have excellent communication skills
- Able to operate under pressure
- Keen eye for attention to detail
- Excel literate (including V look ups, pivot tables, VBA macros and dynamic conditional formatting)
