What is the role? We currently have an opportunity with our Finance Team for a Finance Administrator . Reporting to the Senior Finance Administrator you will provide accounts support to the AJG broking and finance teams. This is a national position supporting multiple branches across the AJG broking business and responsible for all financial activities which occur within the branch network. Due to the national scope of this role the successful candidate can be located at any of our branches in Perth, Brisbane, Beenleigh (QLD), Parramatta (NSW) or Melbourne Key responsibilities include: Receipting/allocation of all client payments to invoices including direct deposits, bpay and foreign currency Allocation of credit and debit invoices Assisting and supporting brokers with accounts queries including client and creditor payments Processing the administration and approval step of client refunds Weekly reconciliation of unallocated items report Supporting the central finance team with banking and creditor payment queries Liaising with underwriters on closing requests and outstanding premium requests Premium funding flagging of policies and allocation of settlements Identify opportunities to improve business process Ad hoc duties as requested What are we looking for? Demonstrated experience and understanding of accounts administration Experience and understanding of insurance will be highly regarded High attention to detail and levels of accuracy Excellent time management Strong team player with willingness to support others High competent computer skill including working knowledge of accounting programs Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with a range of stakeholders What will we offer?
