THE COMPANY:
Brewster Partners Accountancy & Finance are currently recruiting for an Interim Financial Controller for a small but rapidly expanding organisation based in the Sheffield area, within easy reach from Chesterfield, Rotherham and Barnsley. The business has bright, spacious offices and can offer free on-site parking.
THE JOB:
Working closely with the Finance Director, key responsibilities will include:
Preparing and consolidating accounts Budgeting and forecasting Undertaking high levels of variance analysis, communicating findings to Stakeholder level to aid decision making and improve processes and procedures Preparing VAT returns Liaising with auditors Managing a small team on a day-to-day basis and Ad hoc project work as required
THE PERSON:
A qualified finance professional (ACA / CIMA / ACCA) A strong communicator with a proven track record in staff management Organised with the ability to meet tight deadlines IT literate to include strong excel
