Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparefinancial statements of the group entities according to applicable financial reporting standards
  • Beinvolved in the annual audit process for multipleentities and act as one of the main points of liaison with auditors, especially on technical matters
  • Act as the in-house technical accounting expert and advise the localfinance team on matters of financial reporting andtax compliance
  • Beinvolved in the monthly closingprocess in compliance with deadlines and internal controls
  • Reviewand submitquarterly GST filings and corporate income tax filings
  • Reviewregulatory submission information
  • Reviewaccounting entries, ensuring clerical accuracy and appropriate support documentation
  • Work closely with outsourced accounting function in shared service centreon all accounting matters, including monthly financial close and reconciliations of entities
  • Assist in preparation of quarterly Board of Directors meeting materials, including unaudited financial statements, investment summaries etc.
  • Liaisewith third-party fund administrator to ensure seamless provision of required information
  • Prepare and/or review other ad-hoc reports/schedules
  • Ensure work is performed in compliance with all financial policies and processes
  • Ad hoc project work and support to the CFO, Financial Controller and Senior Finance Manager as required

Requirements:
  • Qualified CPA / CA or equivalent
  • At least 6 years’ of work experience, including a minimum of 3 years’ commercial experience
  • Exposure toprivate equity, energy/infrastructure or funds management sectors
  • Audit experience, particularly from Big 4 will be highly looked upon
  • Strong technical accounting and financial reporting knowledge, in particular Singapore FRS and IFRS
  • Knowledge or experience of other accounting standards (e.g. Japanese GAAP) is an advantage
  • Sound grasp of Singapore GST and corporate income tax rules
  • Prior exposure to corporate tax structuring, tax planning, overseas tax issues (including WHT, DTAs etc.) is an advantage
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software, especially Excel and Powerpoint
  • Prior experience of working with Microsoft Dynamics NAV,Lucanet (consolidation software) and SAP Concur /SAP Analytics is desirable
  • Independent and critical thinker with strong analytical ability
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to confidently interact with senior management, external vendors and peers
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills (including report writing)
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
  • Highly organised, methodical and efficient
  • History of working effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to work independently to achieve optimal results
