A progressive and well-respected Accountancy Practice is now looking to add to its team by hiring an experienced Client Portfolio Manager.
In this client facing role you will manage a mixed portfolio of clients, from sole traders, to SMEs through to limited companies. You will have wide ranging responsibilities that will include producing accounts for Partner sign off, dealing with corporation tax, VAT and personal tax returns and chasing up deadlines. The clients are all within the Gloucestershire region so there will be very limited requirements to travel and obviously in the current climate the vast majority of the client work will be done on the phone.
Candidates should have previous experience of putting together client accounts and tax returns and ideally will be familiar with IRIS and Xero. A career history that includes time spent within an Accountancy Practice handling a client portfolio is required. Whilst accounting qualifications will be particularly welcome they are not a prerequisite and candidates qualified by experience will also be considered.
The firm offers a competitive benefits package that includes a discretionary bonus scheme (6 monthly reviews), a holiday allowance that increases with service, city centre on-site parking free of charge and working hours of 9 to 5
