Accountant

DESCRIPTION
Currently we are looking for an Accountant for our Minsk global shared services team to make our team even stronger.
Responsibilities

• Responsible for US GAAP bookkeeping for in-scope companies
• Communicate with local (statutory) accountants on bookkeeping issues if required
• Posting of bank transactions for in-scope companies
• Close in-scope companies in SAP FI in accordance with established procedure
• Prepare closing package for in-scope companies
• Prepare first-line variance analysis for in-scope companies' TBs
• Provide explanations/supporting documentation to Senior/Lead Accountant on all in-scope companies, if required
• Upon request of a Senior/Lead Accountant, prepare and maintain documentation on relevant business processes, internal procedures and controls, etc

Requirements

• High Finance/Accounting background
• Deep knowledge and understanding of accounting
• ACCA/DipIFR (advantage)
• Minimum 2 years accounting working experience
• Working knowledge SAP (advantage), other ERP systems
• Good knowledge of English (Intermediate level at least)
• Good MS office skills, especially Excel skills
• Stress tolerance
• Willingness work hard, including overtimes
• Highly articulate and attentive to details
