What our client need

Reporting to the Service Director - Finance and Improvement, the Management Accountant will provide strategic finance support to our client including financial planning, commercial thinking and budgetary control.

The role will be responsible for overseeing monthly management accounts packs for budget holders and management, and for supporting the budget holders through the annual budget and longer-term Financial Business Plan setting process.

Responsible for the management of the Management Accounts Team, the role will ensure seamless operation of the team while embedding a customer focused service to all budget holders and management.

Who we need

You will ideally hold a recognised professional accountancy qualification and have financial management experience within a third sector or social housing setting. You will be passionate about service development, with experience of identifying the potential for delivering efficiency savings and driving business decisions.
