Our client is looking to recruit a Finance Director to oversee finance, procurement & facilities.
Your new role
You will lead on the financial, commercial, planning and reporting framework and direction, ensuring appropriate controls are in place. You will work closely with the Executive Committee and Senior Leaders on financial and operational planning effectiveness and alignment. Lead funding and budget allocation discussions internally and with external parties be accountable for an effective and value for money commercial framework and processes
be accountable for compliance with internal and external controls and governance, including continuous improvement to align with the organisation's strategy lead and take responsibility for the functional areas within the Directorate, assuring the effective recruitment, retention, development and management of staff at all levels
be accountable for external relationships. You will manage 3 direct reports with teams reporting in.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be an ACA or ACCA practice trained qualified Accountant with experience of not just overseeing finance but Procurement, facilities or IT. You will act as a Finance Business Partner to the board, with the ability to act at the lead on a number of transformation projects. You will be looking to take a step into an exciting varied role with board opportunities.
