A leading player in the private equity industry has opportunity for the position of a Accountant.

Work Experience Requirements

Minimum 5-7 years' experience in Accounting with a good knowledge of accounting principles, experience in underwriting loans for the purchase of vehicles

Education Requirements:

Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or equivalents.

Post university qualification would be an advantage.

Certified accounting affiliation is required.

Knowledge and skill Requirement s.

Experience in underwriting loans for the purchase of vehicles

Knowledge of and ability to apply accounting concepts, techniques, and principles.

Skill in analyzing and interpreting financial data

Accuracy in working with large amounts of data

Good verbal and written communications skills for working with staff and clients of varying nationalities

Experience in financial and statutory accounts and the recording of supporting financial transactions

Strong knowledge of MS Office suite of products, i. e. Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Experience of an accounting or financial software is an advantage.

Proactive and independent

Flexible and enthusiastic.

Teamwork: team player working cooperatively with others.

Bookkeeping: a good bookkeeper with technical understanding of how things are done in order to evaluate them.

Auditing: Auditing experience would come handy in resolving a lot of issues and delivers good result.

Taxation: Good knowledge in Ghanaian tax laws including but not limited to income taxation, Value Added Tax and With Holding Tax

Good supervision: Good supervisory, guidance and leadership skill to oversee and motivate others to give their best in all of the work that they do.

Managerial skills: must possess good managerial skills in order to run the department well. Should know how to organize, coordinate, and manage different activities and handling people.

Honesty: Honesty is one of the important factors that should be considered for the job. The individual must be reliable and have integrity.
