As a n (experienced) Business Analyst you will be part of our Products & Projects team that supports the larger Van Ameyde organization in driving the overall strategy and execution for Software Development, Business Intelligence, Analytics and Reporting. This P&P team adds value to a range of areas; a ll bridging client requirements towards the internal development organization and / or the realization of those.
As a Business Analyst you ar e requirement driven; understand business information needs and capable of transforming client requests into designs . You are able to convey your ideas articulately to different parts of the organization and communicate with clients and stakeholders in international settings. You will closely collaborate with Products Owners and Project Managers as well as with other teams (Architecture, Development) of the organization.
This dynamic and multidisciplinary team consists of 10 people, geographically distributed between Rijswijk (The Netherlands) and Lisbon (Portugal). Th e function resides in Rijswijk .
Your key areas of responsibilities:

• Align with business stakeholders and support them in gathering and documenting requi rements and acceptance criteria for their business needs ;
• Contribute to the design process of new functionality and translate the market demands and customer needs into pragmatic requirements and acceptance criteria , either in functional designs or in User Stories ;
• During development, act as the first line of contact for developers in case of functional questions ;
• Contribute to the testing and acceptance of implemented functionality ;
• Evaluate the design of process changes and new requirements to realize continuous improvements ;
• Provide support to the internal organization , e.g. Product Owners, Operations, Sales and Finance to answer queries on business and customer questions ;
• Stakeholder management on various levels (internal & external) .

Your profile
Foremost we are looking for a pro-active person ready to take on a new challenge. The general picture for this position is as follows:

• R elevant bachelor's or master's degree , preferably (business) Informatics, Information Management, Management of Technology or similar ;
• Relevant working experience of 2-5 years, preferably in a similar role;
• Good knowledge of software development processes and QA methodologies;
• Abl e to visualize ideas in diagrams / charts based on best practices (BPMN) ;

• Experience in functional analysis and design in the domains of business process modelling;
• Experience in worki ng with multicultural teams ( DevOps / Agile environment ) ;
• Excellent busine ss English communication skills, both in writing and verbally . Good communication skills in Dutch are required .
