We have an exciting opportunity for 2x Payroll Officer / Trainee Payroll Officer to join our team at Caledonia House. You will work as part of a team delivering an accurate, efficient and confidential payroll service to NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde, The State Hospital, National Waiting Times Centre, NHS Western Isles, NHS 24 & three local hospices.
This includes the provision of advice and guidance to managers, HR colleagues and staff members in the application and interpretation of national, locan and Agenda for Change Terms & Conditions, policies, procedures and statutory regulations relating to salaries. The successfull candidate will be a quick, accurate typist in a role that requires high levels of concentration - calculating salaries in a busy environment.
The succesfull candidate will have the opportunity to gain the Payroll Technician Ceritificate from the Chartered Institute of Payroll Professions (CIPP). For entry, an appropriate qualification would be the IPPM Certificate in Payroll Management (MIPP Cert), SVQ4 in Payroll Administration or significant external payroll experience. Trainee posts are available under Annex 21. Knowledge and experience of payroll is desirable.
