Senior Management Accountant / Business Partner role based in CBD

Your new company
A rapidly growing and ever-changing manufacturing firm based on the outskirts of Auckland's CBD, are long established as a leader within their unique industry and boast a global reputation. Due to a strategic restructure within their dynamic finance department, they are now seeking a new Senior Management Accountant to join on a full-time permanent basis. Historically, they do not have to recruit for this position often so a great opportunity to join and progress your own career!


Your new role
Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, the Senior Management Accountant holds responsibility for all activities associated with financial planning and management accounting reports, including providing an analysis and commentary to evaluate and integrate the information. You will coordinate the budgeting and forecasting process on a both a quarterly and annual basis, whilst conducting company analysis to formulate reports, recommendations and trend forecasts. Also, the Senior Management Accountant will manage an initial team of two juniors and be expected to build effective relationships to business partner with all stakeholders both internal and external.


What you'll need to succeed
Your 5+ years commercial accounting experience alongside a degree and full CA/CPA qualification will lead to success. Ideally, you will have worked in a senior management accounting or business partnering capacity within a fast paced environment and able to work both independently but add value to a wider team with people management skills. In addition, you will be able to show examples of being able to work well under pressure, adapt a methodological approach and have proven ERP experience and and advanced level using MS Excel.
