Our client is a highly successful food manufacturing company in Leicester
Due to continued success they are now looking to recruit a Qualified Accountant paying £35,000 - £40,000
Duties for the Management Accountant / Financial Accountant include: budgets/forecasts, accruals & prepayments, balance sheet account reconciliations, account analysis and review, tax advice, monthly margin analysis, manage fixed assets and depreciation, purchase ledger management, monthly KPI reporting and variance analysis, supporting with statutory accounts and tax for year end, assist Finance Director and team with daily sales update, liase with the factory team to report and analyse labour, materials and department overheads, checking and maintaining the data in the costing system, manage labour efficiency reporting and monitor spend against capex projects
The successful Management Accountant / Financial Accountant will ideally be qualified in ACA, ACCA or CIMA and will have previous experience within the food manufacturing / FMCG sector to include: preparation, analysis and review of management accounts, implementing and using standard costing system, supporting NPD costing and analysis, working with complex models, forecasts and costings, completing VAT returns, be an advanced excel user, have outstanding communication ability across all levels of the business, proven ability to lead, motivate and develop high performing teams and to think strategically.
