PwC's Asset and Wealth Management (AWM) practice is the market leading AWM audit business. Our business is a national practice comprising over 600 staff with a presence in 12 offices across the UK, and comprises both financial audit and non-audit assurance businesses.Working in AWM will provide opportunities to gain experience working across a variety of clients including FTSE listed, global private companies, private partnerships, funds and Private Equity and Venture Capitalist backed companies. The role involves working directly with clients to deliver high quality CASS audits, other assurance and advisory services, helping to drive our ambitious technology agenda and supporting the build out of our national CASS team across the UK.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Using feedback and reflection to develop self awareness, personal strengths and address development areasDelivering CASS audit and advisory projects over a diverse range of our clients within set deadlinesConducting fieldwork in accordance with PwC's CASS audit methodology and quality assurance standards,communicating findings to clients and preparing written reportsConducting fieldwork in accordance with PwC's CASS audit methodology and quality assurance standards,communicating findings to clients and preparing written reportsDelegating to others to provide stretch opportunities and coaching to help deliver resultsDeveloping new ideas and proposing innovative solutions to problemsUsing a broad range of tools and techniques to extract insights from current trends in the business areaReviewing your work and that of others for quality, accuracy and relevanceSharing relevant thought leadershipUsing straightforward communication, in a structured way, when influencing othersAbility to read situations and modify behaviour to build quality, diverse relationshipsUpholding the firm's code of ethics and business conductEssential Skills and Experience:CA / ACA / ACCA/ICAS qualified (or international equivalent)Experience of Cass Audits or Risk & Control would be desirable .Experience of financial accounting and reportingThe ability to learn quicklyStrong project management skillsThe ability to work effectively in a team, building good working relationships with both colleagues and client personnel at all levelsExperienced in coaching junior staffPassion for qualityExperience of working to client deadlinesThe locationFind out more about our PwC office locations.The skills we look forOur people are curious and put quality first and foremost.
