Supply Assurance Assistant
This position is directly accountable for assisting in creating a competitive advantage through the development and management of a global supply base that provides: quality products/services that meet/exceed specifications, world class service (on-time delivery, shortest possible lead-times, and responsiveness), innovation and the lowest total cost. Assist in ensuring 90+% vendor On time delivery through managing the execution of operational procurement activities across global bearing business. Manage the supply base purchased inventory and payables for improved working capital management. Work with other functional areas (e.g. Engineering, Process Development, Manufacturing, etc.) Define the requirements for supplier development. Procurement experience in supply chain within a manufacturing organization Knowledge of bearing component production processes Proficient in Microsoft Excel Analytical problem solving experience Excellent team skills Results focus oriented SAP functionality skills Knowledge of finished goods
Education/Skills:
Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration or Relative Discipline with 2+ years of experience
