The BCMA business provides comprehensive financial advisory and capital raising services to top corporations, financial institutions and governments worldwide.

The Senior Business Analyst is an intermediate level professional responsible for providing support to the NAM Business Management team, primarily focusing on ECM and DCM syndicated closeouts as well as assisting on other various global work streams. The overall objective of this role is to serve as a subject matter expert regarding underwriting closeouts and expense recovery.

Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

  • Completion of closeout process for underwritten Debt and Equity transactions, including liaising with counterparts at other banks, BCMA Deal Teams, and various groups within Citi (i.e. Financial Control, Middle Office and Operations)
  • Partnering with Global Business Management team, Financial Control and Operations to ensure accuracy of the Business' balance sheet
  • Forecast monthly Business Development expenses based on deal volume
  • Work with technology to improve infrastructure to improve deal tracking
  • Assisting with internal audit and external regulatory reviews
  • Supporting BCMA management with various process reviews and improvement projects
  • Various ad-hoc analysis and presentations as needed


  • Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in a financial services role
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • Demonstrated clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Working knowledge of financial services industry and financial information
  • Ability to interface with senior management and build good working relationships with professionals globally
  • Ability to work under pressure in a deadline driven environment while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage and prioritize effectively and resolve conflicting priorities


  • Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Finance or Business Management
