The Role Responsibilities

  • Manage and run working groups & steering committees
  • Work closely with technology partners to define project release plan and close supervision of development progress to meet deadlines
  • Produce ongoing metrics on progress, status reports & communication packs.
  • Lead the business requirements gathering activities
  • Evaluate risks associated with projects undertaken and ensuring timely escalation to appropriate responsible parties
  • Work closely with the business users to understand, analyse and document change requirements
  • Liaise with IT to ensure business requirements are met on time, including the completion of appropriate solutions design, development and testing
  • Liaise with IT to support the technical specification and development work
  • Supervise the user acceptance testing (UAT) effort through detailed test case articulation, active tracking of bug fixes and ensuring timely sign off
  • Oversee go-live release implementations and post go-live issue(s) resolution


Our Ideal Candidate

  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, including the ability to interact effectively with Bank wide stakeholders across multiple functions and seniority levels
  • Structured thinker with the ability to break down complexity into smaller parts to aid communication and implementation.
  • Strong Software Development Lifecycle ("SDLC") experience - preferably with both Waterfall and Agile methodology
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant change/project management experience required
  • Proven track record of successful and timely project delivery
  • Prior experience working on project(s) dealing with data analysis, evaluation and dashboarding will be advantageous
  • The ability to work independently to get desired results and a keen appreciation of the importance of timely escalation
  • Significantly developed skills to support performance of critical analysis and assessment of data/information harvested from stakeholders and independently pursue further clarifications where necessary
  • Time management / planning skills, and the ability to meet deadlines

Valued Skills
  • Degree or diploma in a Banking-related discipline preferred
  • Prior experience within the banking industry
  • Prior experience with Compliance/Risk Reporting and Data Analytics Projects
