The Role

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Director, Asia to join our team in Singapore. This is a fast-paced role suited for a highly experienced individual familiar with managing a broad spectrum of financial and administrative activities. Reporting to the APAC CFO, this role covers Dematic's Asia Pacific region (excluding China and Australia) and will provide commercial and financial guidance to the senior management team.

You will be responsible for:

• Management of the Accounting and Finance functions to ensure the integrity of financial information, efficient process, control of funds and assets and drive rigour in management of costs.
• Delivering accurate and timely reporting to senior management, regional Finance, Dematic Global and KION, incorporating insightful analysis and commentaries.
• Responsibility for FP&A and delivery of monthly forecasting, focusing on forecast accuracy and taking action where opportunities arise to improve business results.
• Leading the annual Budget process and subsequent measurement and analysis of performance against targets.
• Actively participate in Asia's senior management team and key decision making, providing commercial guidance and financial analytics
• Strong business partner to senior management, providing constructive challenges and championing value creating opportunities
• Oversee Asia's Project Controlling function
• Management of Admin and Facilities functions in the region
• Leading and developing a team across various countries
• Treasury management including cashflow management and reporting, payments, foreign exchange hedging and bank guarantees
• Ensuring compliance with accounting and treasury policies, Code of Compliance, and statutory, taxation and legal requirements across the various countries
• Responsibility for Internal Audits and internal control systems
• Supporting Sales and Legal teams with clarification and negotiation of commercial terms for tenders, customer quotations and contracts
• Ensuring smooth deployment of Oracle EPM tool in Asia and future SAP implementation

What We Are Looking For

Successful candidates will possess the following qualifications & experience:

• Bachelor's degree with appropriate specialisation
• Membership of a professional accounting body
• Minimum 15 years of experience in relevant positions
• Professional experience within a project delivery environment
• Strong communication skills and ability to lead, coach and develop team members
• Commercial focus and strong analytical skills
• Experience with SAP would be beneficial
• Collaborative approach and ability to interact with all levels of management
