Job Description:

Essential Job Functions
  • At least 3-6 years of Life Insurance/Reinsurance domain operations experience.
    • Should have core insurance domain process knowledge in any at least one of the functional areas like
    o Accounting
    o Claims
    o Policy administration
    o Underwriting
    o Reinsurance
    • Candidates with only sales/marketing/customer service background in insurance will be rejected
    • Having software product development experience is a plus
    • Experience in defining/documenting business requirements
    • Ability to understand/follow/define processes of end-client business operations.
    • Experience in working with use cases, specifications, process flows, data models, test cases, etc.
    • Ability to effectively communicate business requirements to programmers/technical team from IT angle
    • Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written, listening, presentation, and facilitation
    • Preferred experience in pre-sales, RFP, RFI responding, providing demo to prospects and generating workflows of product functionalities
    • Must have good analytical skills
    • Domain certifications from LOMA, FLMI desired

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, information systems, or related field preferred
  • Three or more years of business analysis experience
  • Experience working with the interface of information technology with functional groups within an organization
  • Experience working with business processes and re-engineering
  • Experience working with computer programming concepts and basic language
