job description This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified or fully-qualified Accountant to join a new-age accounting firm and work as part of a high performing team. This client facing role will allow candidates to work with a broad range of clients from start to finish whilst proving an excellent service.

educational requirements Bachelor Degree
The key responsibilities in this role include:
- Managing your own portfolio of clients (50+)
- Independent preparation of SMSF financial statements, annual returns and all other SMSF compliance requirements
- Preparation and analysis of finical statements and tax returns
- Providing tax advice to individuals, SME's and trusts
- Preparation of BAS/IAS returns, FBT returns, etc.
- Meeting deadlines and managing/ prioritising workflow
The successful candidate will ideally have the following skills and experience:
- Ideally 3+ years working within an accounting firm
- Experience with SMSF and individuals, small businesses and trusts
- CA/ CPA qualified or part-qualified
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with clients
- High level or attention to detail
- Exposure to accounting software such as XERO, Microsoft packages and Excel
