About Us:
We are recruiting for a Trainee Underwriter based in Leatherhead to join the team at aQmen. The Company aQmen Underwriting (part of PIB Group) is a Managing General Agent (MGA) with delegated underwriting authority from leading insurers. We provide our network of partner brokers with a comprehensive range of specialist insurance policies targeted at three niche sectors: Not for Profit (Charity, Community and Social Enterprise), Places of Worship (all denominations and associated Faith-based organisations) and Recruitment & Employment Agencies.
We are looking for an individual who has drive, enthusiasm and is interested in building a career with prospects in the insurance industry. In this role you are expected to show a commitment to excellent customer service and attention to detail. You will be expected to demonstrate a technical skill set and the desire to acquire new skills. You will also be a team player and be able to train as an Underwriter, whilst executing administrative duties.
You will have strong attention to details skills and be seeking a role with a growing and expanding Insurance company. This role would suit a Graduate in Maths and or Business and have excellent numerical skills.
