Client Details
My client is a well known Automotive business, with both a national and international presence. Specialising in this market, the Group has large revenues and employs people across sites in Asia, Europe and North America and across the globe.
They are seeking an experienced and talented Senior Finance Business Partner to join their team. This is a pivotal role in Group Finance, ensuring insightful analysis and explanation of actual results, forecasts, budgets, major customer bids and capex proposals. The incumbent will build strong relationships with divisional teams to gain this insight and help to deliver the targeted Group performance, as well as providing effective governance to the underlying processes.
The position offers a great overview of the whole Group as part of a small HQ team, has regular exposure to the CEO, CFO and COO, and is intended to be a stepping stone to other roles within the Group.
Description
Actual results, budgets, forecasts and strategic plans - Getting a clear understanding of the underlying performance of each of the divisions and the factors contributing to this, helping to communicate this to senior management and ensuring that resources are allocated optimally across the Group to deliver short, medium and long term targets.
Improve Global functions reporting and insight, provide finance business partner support for functional Senior Executives to identify business opportunities
Engage, influence and guide the finance team in understanding financial impacts and trends
Design and develop a centre of excellence for recharges and allocation models for costs required to be recharged to markets
Develop reporting processes and procedures to improve control and efficiency
Support Group Finance Business Partner in delivering In Control Framework and improvements beyond
Capital Expenditure and key project spend
Profile
Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA or CIMA)
Experience working as a Senior Finance professional
Ability to influence, engage and constructively challenge
Good problem solving
Management Reporting
Ideally SAP but not essential
Advanced Excel
Job Offer
