Business Analyst

Satellic is a Belgian company located in Diegem. We were appointed in July 2014 by the three Belgian Regions to collect on their behalf the toll from Heavy Goods Vehicles of over 3.5 tonnes and N1 BC vehicles. In less than two years, we have designed, built, financed, and made operational a complete kilometer charging system. We are currently operating and managing the system. As a Belgian joint venture between T-Systems and Strabag, we have vast experience in all aspects of the deployment of an intelligent kilometer charging system. Having fully built up the Belgian system makes us the undisputed technological leader in this field. We work under the supervision of Viapass. Currently, Satellic is looking for a Business analyst. Work independently or in close relationship with the Data Analytics team on data derived from Financial Transactions, Service Points, Logistics, Customer Service... Responsible for data extraction, uncovering trends, patterns, visualizing outcome, and give recommendations Delivering business insights in form of intelligent dashboards, automating reports, revealing product insights, using connectivity data to monitor machine behaviors, investigate causality for given events, predict part/ machine lifetime, machine running hours, … Update knowledge in the database and take ownership of the data structure. Follow-up of incidents and changes related to information systems. Software Release testing Must have General knowledge and experience in IT Ability to diagnose problems Usage of Incident Management tools Experience in designing, creating, and evaluating reports. Attentive listening & openly expresses ideas Ability to work in a team and have a "can do" mentality Nice to have Knowledge of Confluence Knowledge of SPLUNK, Jira, SQL, scripting, PowerBI, Qlikview Degree and years of experience 3 to 7 years of relevant experience Language skills Dutch - Good English - Good French - Good Competences Creative solution orientation Formulating and implementing innovative solutions and proposals Organizational awareness Acting with consideration of the influences and consequences of own decisions or actions on other parts of the organization Resilience Flexible handling of setbacks, changes, and stressful situations.
