OverviewThe Client Finance Director is responsible for all client financial operations for the NY office. Reporting to the CFO, the Client Finance Director will partner with the Finance Director to manage the P, budget and forecasting processes, and be solely responsible for client financial management. This includes collaborating with internal partners on the bid and estimate process, rate card development, billing, and reconciliation. The Client Finance Director may or may not have staff management responsibilities.ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities:Drive revenue growth by leading new initiatives from planning through implementationPartner with account and clients in the development, review, and management of SOW and construction of feesEnsure all stakeholders are following proper, documented processes for development of work, bidding and estimating, approval of fees, billings and reconciliationsDevelop and maintain rate cards in accordance with industry standards, agency protocol, and reflective of market conditionsReview and create consistent working templates including rate cards, WIP reports, estimating templates, work orders, etc.Review and analyze data including staff utilization, revenue forecasts, actuals, etc. to ensure profitabilityOngoing review of financial process and practices with an eye toward enhancing profitability and improving effectivenessEnsure billing is completed in a timely, consistent mannerParticipate in monthly account reviews as a member of the core account leadership teamEnsure contractual compliance on all frontsManage relationships with clients, agency partners, and Hogarth offices Oversee and resolve financial issues, such as, but not limited to WIP and accounts receivableCollaborate on monthly, quarterly, annual reporting with Finance teamAdvise internal agency partners and other Hogarth offices on best practices regarding US financial management practicesParticipate in the AX financial system implementationContribute to Hogarth Worldwide NY office agency culture by exhibiting ownership, professionalism, passion and leading by exampleQualificationsJob requirements:Bachelor's degree with a Business or Finance major, MBA a plus8–10 years of experience in Client Services industry, preferably media or advertisingGlobal experience (understand implications of withholding taxes, foreign effects)Expertise in Client FinanceResults–driven Strong client relationship skills Ability to interact with Senior/Executive Management of the agency and clientStrong line manager with ability to hire, retain, and develop staffStrong written/oral communication skillsExpert financial analysis skillsMust be commercially astute and able to work in a fast–paced, fluid environment
