And, of course, you enjoy working with numbers.Position SnapshotAs the Accounting Specialist, you will assist Corporate Accountants with day–to–day accounting responsibilities in a wide range of functions and capacities. You will be responsible for performing many aspects of the clerical accounting functions and related activities and generate various accounting reports.Day in the Life After booting up your computer and grabbing your favorite morning beverage, you can expect to:Comply with all Management System policies and proceduresProcess and route invoices in electronic retention programMatch invoices to purchase orders for entryManually enter invoices as appropriateReview open purchase order reports/statements for open items and contact suppliers and requisitions as appropriate for resolutionReview pending files for invoices awaiting approval and follow–up withappropriate staffGenerate cash requirement listing for review prior to check generationNotify when payment generation reports can be ran for approvalProvide accruals after month–end closeUpdate various spreadsheets relating to invoice entry and check generationAnswer vendor calls and inquiriesOpen U.S. mail for sorting, distribution, and scanningProvide reports and invoice documentation as necessaryComplete all other assignments made by managementProvide excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholdersEngage in "awesome" team–building experiences dailyOther duties as assignedWhat you will needHigh School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED), and 3 or more years of related accounting experience and/or trainingProficient in MS Word and MS Excel softwareStrong ability to multi–taskExceptional customer service skillsFor your hard workTuition reimbursement after six monthsOpportunity for professional growthEmployer paid certifications and training100% employer paid medical for youPaid Time OffCash Recognition ProgramsFind out more at Ecology is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
