OverviewWaters Corporation is currently leading a search for a Financial Analyst II to support the North American Field Operations Division. The division provides sales, service and technical support to the US, Canada and a South African distributor. As a department, Finance provides all accounting, analysis, reporting and budget support for the division. The position reports directly to the North American Finance Manager.ResponsibilitiesSupport of accounting for field leasing business including journal entries, ensuring revenue recognition compliance, inventory & costs of sales tracking and processing in SAP, reconciliations and reporting.Involvement in the month end close including the preparation of monthly journal entries, analyses and balance sheet reconciliations.Accounting, budgeting, forecasting and analysis of spending and incentives for assigned business partner(s).Leased car budgeting, forecasting and analysis.Incentive modeling and calculations for assigned business partner(s).Ensuring the accuracy and completeness of various consolidated reporting of the division results.QualificationsAt least 3 years of accounting, preferrably with field leasing, revenue recognition compliance, inventory & costs of sales tracking. Degree in Accounting or Finance with relevant experience in a publicly traded company.Familiarity with GAAP lease accounting and revenue recognition practices is a plus.Position requires high levels of organization, attention to detail and demonstrated ability to manage a variety of competing deadlines.The individual must be able to work closely in a team environment and have the communication skills and poise to do so effectively.
