AUDIT & ACCOUNTS SENIOR in COVENTRY, WEST MIDLANDS - JO24196
Accountancy Elite are partnered with a fantastic local firm of chartered accountants in their search for an Audit & Accounts senior.
This is an amazing opportunity for an experienced practice accountant who is looking to work in a practice with a forward thinking attitude and excellent working environment enabling you to excel in the role and in your career. You can be very nearly ACCA/ACA qualified or Fully Qualified with a minimum of 4-5 years practice experience. Audit experience in practice and the desire to perform audit as a large part of your role is essential.
Key Roles and Responsibilities ·Involvement in the planning, fieldwork and completion of audit assignments, supporting the audit manager and RI. ·Preparation of statutory accounts, corporation tax computations and returns for limited companies and groups. ·Preparation of accounts for partnerships and sole traders, draft income tax computations. ·Completion of ad hoc assignments to meet client needs. ·Development of strong relationships with new and existing clients. ·Training and supervision/mentorship of more junior members of staff.
Candidate Attributes:
·ACCA/ACA qualified or newly qualified with 5 years practice experience. ·The successful candidate will be expected to perform audit duties as a large part of the role (50%) ·Possess good IT & communication skills. ·Ability to work to strict deadlines and within budgets.
