Handicare are currently looking to recruit a Head of Finance Shared Services to be based in Kingswinford in the West Midlands. This is an outstanding opportunity to take a highly visible senior leadership role within a progressive and forward-looking organisation. Reporting into the Group Finance Director and leading a team of 20+ the role will oversee the handling of all financial transactions for 10-15 entities within the Group.
Alongside the FD you will help shape the future SCC strategy for the organisation whilst building a "world class" transactional accounting service across accounts receivable, accounts payable, inter- company trading, cash management and general ledger reconciliations. This role is critical to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the group's shared service processes to support the future growth of the business.
The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) with experience of leading the transactional finance function in a medium/large multinational company. With a can do and pro-active attitude, the candidate should be a team player with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across all levels. Experience of systems implementation and project work associated with a Finance Shared Services and a passion to develop an environment of continuous process improvement is essential to ensure success.
