Job Description

Summary

Perform cost accounting, variance analysis and assist the
plant finance team with ad hoc reporting, forecasting and general ledger
accounting.

Duties

• Cost Accounting & General Ledger Accounting
• Drive plant's yearly standard costing for
  injection molding and assembly processes
• Develop and update standard cost for work
  centers
• Perform cost analysis by segment (e.g. product,
  platform)
• Perform variance analysis between actual and
  standard costs
• Develop cost allocation methodologies and assist
  the plant operations team with continuous improvement projects to drive down
  cost
• Support inventory accounting
• Support in developing and monitoring inventory
  accounting work instructions for materials and supply
• Support in accounting for all inventory
  movements
• Support in reconciling after physical inventory
• Support in valuing in inventory
• Support in accounting for appropriate taxes and
  excise rates
• Support in calculating appropriate accruals for
  month end close
• Support in analyzing and reporting stock /
  inventory losses
• Assist Controller with ad hoc reporting,
  forecasting and daily accounting processes

Your Qualifications

Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics

3 years experience in financial and business
management including two years of automotive manufacturing experience.

Preferred experience with injection molding
and assembly costing.
