We are seeking highly ambitious and adaptable talent to join our Rotational Program! Participants can expect accelerated exposure to a selection of Micron's finance team.
As a Finance Analyst on the Assembly & Test Central Finance team, supporting Assembly & Test Manufacturing Operations, your primary focus will be providing effective operational finance support through performing cost financial reporting.
You will be partnering with various teams, including not limited to Site finance team, Corporate Finance teams, as well as Global Operation Cost teams to provide timely and insightful analysis.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS
Partnering with Key Stakeholders to provide insightful Financial Analysis on Assembly & Test Manufacturing cost
- Prepare, analyze and present analyses to support operational decisions; to include quantitative analysis of cost vs. benefits of financial projects, NPV and ROI for capital spend, etc.
- Continuous review of financial analysis methods and tools; implement improvements as needed in order to improve the quality of analysis
- Understanding and ability to articulate financial concepts/analyses; attention to detail and be able to tailor the presentation/level of details appropriately
- Work closely with cross-functional team to deliver complete, concise, and consistent review of financial analysis and benchmarking
- On-going support of management information request & special projects as assigned
- Perform Monthly & Quarterly review of Actual vs Actual variances, Budget vs Budget variances and Budget vs Actual variances.
- Supporting the business planning cycle through data analysis and participation in the budget process
- Need to possess the ability to work through data and present data analysis through Business analytic tools
WORKING THROUGH PLANNING AND REPORTING FOR ASSEMBLY & TEST MANUFACTURING SUPPORT
- Monthly review and analysis of actual reported process costs and comparison to plan
- Quarterly review and analysis of projected process costs and comparison to prior plan(s) and established goals and benchmarks
- Monthly review of reported cost to ensure consistent capture of data to enable internal and external benchmarking efforts
- Ongoing support of management information requests and special projects as assigned by management
- Ensure ongoing consistency and relevance of data that is made available to Manufacturing management
- Continuously work to improve the coordination and communication amongst the various sites and global finance teams
- Support the business planning cycle through data analysis and participation in the budget process.
- Prepare and analyze monthly expenses and cost per part fluctuation
- Present to key business partners with an appropriate format with proper level of details
SYSTEMS EXPERIENCE BENEFICIAL TO SUCCESS IN THE ROLE:
- SAP, Excel, PowerPoint, TM1, Power BI
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Data mining and analysis

- Multi-tasking and time management
- Communication and presentation skills

REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 5 years in a finance analyst position in a manufacturing environment
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Economies or Finance are preferred
- Familiarity with costing, accounting & enterprise reporting systems (SAP, Cognos, TM1, Power BI preferred)
- Independent financial analytical ability
- Ability to provide decision support and recommendations, not just data
