Permanent full time position for a standalone accountant within a growing organisation in Geelong.
Your new company
This Australian owned business operating across the eastern states has grown from humble beginnings into a company that partners with some of the country's biggest names in the retail and service industries. Still operated by the original owners they function in a way that offers involvement, collaboration and high level performance.
Your new role
As the company has grown, they are now looking to employ the services of a Company Accountant or Finance Manager to take control of all end to end accounting tasks. Starting from general ledger reconciliation through to cash flows, profit and loss statements and balance sheets, you will also be expected to assist with statutory requirements before passing information onto the external accountant. Also incorporating analysis, reporting and the ability to look at different profit centres, you will be required to take on multiple duties. Working closely with the business owners your efforts will be crucial in the growth of the business and key decision making.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have previous experience of working as a standalone accountant with only basic support from a finance administrator. Ideally suited to experience in wholesale / retail / logistics, you will understand work in progress and multiple profit and loss accounts. You will be able to handle a huge variety of tasks and have the right attitude to take on everything that is thrown at you.
