Your new role
Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for providing strategic financial support to the executive team and General Managers. You will lead a team of high performing, qualified accountants to support key commercial decision making in the business. Key duties include:
- Lead your team in a manner which inspires high performance
- Drive strategic business plans and performance reporting
- Play a key role in the delivery of the finance transformation project
- Evaluate P&L and provide analysis of financial performance
- Provide direction on departmental budgeting for the respective retail business
- Prepare the annual CAPEX budget for the business and review with GM's
- Review all retail business procurement requirements and advise on direction
What you'll need to succeed
- CA/CPA qualification
- Experience in the retail sector, retail apparel desirable
- Previous track record in a commercial finance role
- Strong leadership skills and demonstrable experience leading a qualified finance team
- Previous experience in a finance transformation project highly desirable
