Head of Prudential Risk

I am currently supporting a banking client on an mandate to identify a Head of Prudential Risk to join the business based in London.

The primary responsibility of the role is to ensure the delivery of key regulatory Enterprise/Prudential Risk documents included in the Risk Roadmap.

The successful role holder would ensure these documents and processes are aligned with the Bank's ICAAP/ILAAP and ensure that the Bank's Risk Appetite Framework and Metrics are aligned with their Enterprise Risk documents.

Responsibilities of the role would include the annual planning and production of the Bank's ICAAP, Recovery Plan, Resolution Plan and Capital Contingency Plan. You would also support with the Bank's ILAAP process and facilitate the relevant workshops and business lines / risk / finance to ensure the inputs to the relevant documents are produced accordingly.

You would work closely with Risk and Finance teams on Stress Testing planning required to support the Enterprise Risk documents, and ensure stress testing approach captures the needs of the various Enterprise Risk documents, including ILAAP and Risk Recovery Plan.

The ideal candidate would have the gravitas and confidence to engage with stakeholders of various seniority levels and present documents for approval through the various forums i.e. EXCO

To be considered the ideal candidate would have

- Demonstrable ICAAP/RRP experience

- Experience working in banking

- Good experience facing off to senior stakeholders / the regulator

Consulting experience would be advantageous for this position
