Accounts Payable Manager (immediate start)

This role, Accounts Payable Manager (immediate start), will report into the Financial Controller and will include Accounts Payable duties, as well as managing a team of 4.

Our client are a large UK Retailer whose brand is quirky and covers fashion as well as home items. They have branches all across the UK and are looking for a new AP manager to join their London head office.

Description

The key responsibilities in this role, Accounts Payable Manager (immediate start), will include:

- Supervising a team of 4 Accounts Payable Clerks

- Sorting out queries and disputes with clients

- Monthly control accounts

- Ad hoc investigations into the Ledger

- System development

- Processing invoices

- Making payments

- Reconciliations

- Running the Aged Creditor Reports

- Based in the City of London

- Immediate start

- Accountancy based and Financial Services backed

- Paid hourly

Profile

The successful candidate for this role, Accounts Payable Manager (immediate start), will:

1) have a minimum of 3 years experience in Accounts Payable

2) have managed a team in their most recent role

3) be immediately available or on a maximum of one week's notice
