On permanent position, ACCA/CIMA study support will be providedOur client is a leading education provider based in Bolton.
We are looking for a strong Assistant Accountant/Management Accountant to join the finance team on a temporary to possible permanent basis.
It is essential you have over 2 years' experience in a Finance role and have started your CIMA/ACCA studies already (minimum 1-2 exams completed)Role:Producing monthly management accounts pack for senior stakeholdersAssisting in producing audit reportsSupporting with the production of statutory accountsFull ownership of purchase ledger function, ensuring all purchase orders are processed timelyMonitoring expenditure against budgets including across funding streamsProducing monthly finance reports for the Finance DirectorCompleting VAT returns and month/year end journalsMaintaining cash flow forecast, cash register and banking any income generatedMaintaining fixed assetsProcessing all BACS and cheque payments ensuring all authorised off by correct partiesExperience:Immediately available to start temp to permIt is essential you have started your CIMA or ACCA studies2+ years experience in FinanceYou must have a good knowledge of accounts & purchase ledger, lots of training provided for producing the management accountsGood attention to detail and forward thinking attitude with a desire to learnPlease send your CV for immediate consideration
