As a member of the Care Delivery Finance Team, you will use your finance, data analytic, and strategic experience to evaluate key market data and resources to help steer the organization's priorities and investments while partnering with senior leadership. Specifically, as the enterprise continues to strive for best-in-class quality and clinical outcomes while improving the patient and provider experience, OptumCare and UHC are developing a comprehensive analysis to determine strategic partnership opportunities.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Prepare modeling in conjunction with UnitedHealthcare to assess future partnerships in Medicare Advantage, Group Retiree, and Commercial spaces
- Create P&L forecasts for all agreed upon partnership during each cycle
- Develops and maintain financial reports to clearly communicate actual results, forecasted performance, and variances to plan, forecast and budget
- Partner with UHC to perform financial reviews of past deal performance against business case
- Maintain new markets budget
- Assist with market development including new products, contracts, etc.
- Maintain reporting on existing partnerships
- Troubleshoot variances between UHC & Optum financials to enhance reporting
- Gather market data to help inform growth opportunities
- Support long range market-level financial projections to assist senior leadership
- Assist senior leadership with Ad Hoc requests

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Ability to effectively interpret results and findings to senior leadership
- Advanced level of proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Employees are required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive VoiceResponse (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or a similar UnitedHealth Group approved symptom screener prior to entering the work site each day, in order to keep our work sites safe. Employees must comply with any state and local masking orders. - You will be asked to perform this role in an office setting or other company location
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hyperion Essbase and Peoplesoft experience
- Microsoft Access or SQL experience
- Ability to work independently and meet accelerated deadlines
- Strong oral & written communication skills with all levels of the organization
- Prior experience with Medicare Advantage
